Stevens & Lee announced that Karl S. Myers, co-chair of the firm's appellate litigation group, has been named to the board of governors of the Third Circuit Bar Association.
In this role, Myers will help to advance the Third Circuit Bar Association's mission. The association works with the judges of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to improve the standards of federal appellate practice, develop improved rules of practice, promote events and educational programs to aid the court in the administration of justice, and facilitate relations between the bench and bar.
Myers is a Pennsylvania appellate lawyer with two decades of experience arguing and briefing a variety of high-profile, precedent-setting cases before the Pennsylvania Supreme, Commonwealth and Superior Courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
