Four more life sciences attorneys from Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders have joined Goodwin Procter in Pennsylvania and New York, bringing the total number of Troutman exits to Goodwin to 18 so far this year.

The additions of partners Allison Nicklin, Alicia Palladino and Laura Umbrecht in Philadelphia and Justin Platt in New York follow 14 colleagues who made the jump between firms earlier in January. The moves are taking place as the Boston-born Am Law 50 firm grows its presence in Philadelphia with recruits from local practices bringing a focus in life sciences, health care and private equity.

"Allison, Alicia, Justin, and Laura are key members of this team, and we are delighted to welcome them to Goodwin this week, as we continue to invest in both our mid-Atlantic and global platform for the benefit of our clients," Mitchell Bloom, chair of Goodwin's life sciences practice, said in a prepared statement.
