Ballard Spahr’s revenue ticked upward by 2.5% in 2022, hitting $482.2 million, while profits per equity partner were essentially flat from the previous year.

Leaders at the Philadelphia-born Am Law 100 firm said results from last fiscal year, which pale in comparison to 2021’s 10% revenue increase and 22.4% profits per partner increase, signal that 2021’s revenue and profits were repeatable, if not significantly improvable, in 2022. With a 2.7% increase to the total number of lawyers to 603, the firm’s revenue per lawyer remained flat at $800,000.
