Deluca, a Democrat, began his career as a prosecutor, but currently works in private practice at a firm focusing on criminal defense.
Szefi, who is running as both Republican and Democrat, has served as Allegheny County solicitor for a decade before being appointed a common pleas judge in mid-2022.
Sweeney has served as the Assistant Public Defender in Allegany County since 1997. During his time as Assistant Public Defender, Sweeney has tried hundreds of jury and non-jury trials, and has counseled thousands of clients.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
