Transcontinental Gas filed a lawsuit against Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future, the Delaware Riverkeeper Network and other defendants on Thursday in Pennsylvania Middle District Court. The suit arises from an issuance of permits to Transcontinental to expand and upgrade certain facilities, which was appealed to the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board. The suit, filed by Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr, seeks a declaration that the board lacks jurisdiction under the Natural Gas Act. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
