The mother of two girls their father killed has reached a $3 million settlement with the York Area Regional Police Department, which she claimed failed to prevent her daughters' deaths.
On Thursday, Judge Clyde Vedder of the York County Court of Common Pleas approved the settlement under which plaintiff Marisa Vicosa is recovering the defendant's full insurance coverage amount.
