Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., attorney Jan M. Folena is scheduled to serve as a speaker for an upcoming webcast titled "SEC Cybersecurity Rules: Navigating a New Compliance Roadmap."
The SEC is poised to take a final vote on its new Cybersecurity Risk Management rules, which will require significant enhancements to an RIA's cybersecurity posture. From incident response and disclosure to corporate board governance and information security management, the expected requirements are far-reaching; thus, investment management firms take the time now to assess their existing risk management programs and begin implementing compliance-driven controls.
Rick Mutzel, security and compliance officer of Omega Systems, is set to join Folena as a speaker.
