Morgan, Lewis & Bockius’s new Munich office, which opened its doors Monday, doesn’t just include 19 lawyers from Shearman & Sterling. It also includes the ailing firm’s lease and office personnel.

The global firm’s launch in the capital of Bavaria came after weeks of transitioning lawyers and their client relationships from Shearman over to the Morgan Lewis platform, leaders said in a recent interview.
