The Philadelphia Bar Association has finalized its evaluation of the city's 2023 judicial hopefuls, and only three candidates received "not recommended" ratings.

The association's Judicial Commission published the last of its judicial ratings for non-retention positions on March 31, reviewing 29 candidates across races for Philadelphia's common pleas and municipal courts, as well as Pennsylvania's appellate courts. And it has a three-tiered ranking system of "not recommended," "recommended" and "highly recommended."
