Holy Redeemer Surgical Associates and other defendants were hit with a medical malpractice lawsuit on March 31 in Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County. The court action was filed by Joseph Chaiken & Associates on behalf of a patient who contends that the defendants negligently perforated her colon during a surgery. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is Babayen v. Vincent.
