Health care regulatory and compliance attorney Christina Duty has joined McNees Wallace & Nurick's Pittsburgh team.
She previously served as the director of risk intelligence and case management at Highmark Health, a national health insurance and health care provider system. There she led a team of compliance professionals, including attorneys and auditors, dedicated to the implementation of new guidance and management of audits impacting hospitals, providers and health insurance companies.
At McNees, Duty serves health care providers including hospitals, health systems and physician practices as well as health insurance companies. She delivers guidance on third-party payer reimbursement issues; corporate compliance programs; medical staff, credentialing and peer review; fraud and abuse matters; health care mergers and acquisitions; data privacy and security; and integrated delivery and finance systems.
