Einstein Medical Center Montgomery and other defendants were hit with a malpractice lawsuit on April 11 in Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County. The lawsuit, filed by VSCP Law on behalf of Patrick J. Capobianco, asserts that the defendants failed to promptly diagnose the plaintiff's infection, and that the delayed diagnosis forced the plaintiff to undergo an otherwise avoidable emergency amputation. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is Capobianco v. Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.
