Philadelphia attorney Jonathan Olivetti has been sentenced to more than two years in prison following his conviction on wire fraud charges in connection with a scheme to obtain COVID-19 pandemic relief money he wasn't entitled to receive, along with mail fraud and tax evasion charges.

In a release from the Department of Justice, U.S. District Judge Jennifer P. Wilson of the Middle District of Pennsylvania sentenced Olivetti to 27 months imprisonment, after Olivetti, who had been practicing in Scranton, made false representations when applying for two Paycheck Protection Program loans and two Economic Injury Disaster Loans on behalf of Olivetti Law LLC.
