Michael L. Kichline, Mark A. Fiore and Laura H. McNally from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius have stepped in to represent Trinseo PLC, a manufacturer of plastics and latex binders, and its top officers in a pending securities class action. The action, filed April 20 in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court by the Rosen Law Firm, accuses the defendants of making false statements related to a Trinseo plant, which allegedly had a troubled safety record. The complaint also contends that the defendants failed to disclose specific risks related to conducting operations at the plant, including a heightened risk of a chemical spill. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Kai N. Scott, is 2:23-cv-01525, Helfrich v. Trinseo PLC et al.
