Jaron is the founder and chair of HomeBase—The Family Office at Cozen O'Connor, the first and only program of its kind at any Am Law 100 firm and, arguably, the biggest innovation in firm-based private client services of the last decade.
As the longtime chair of the firm's preeminent private client services (PCS) practice, Jaron has been serving the complex legal needs of high-net-worth clients for decades. She tracks economic and demographic trends closely and foresaw a looming disconnect between supply and demand for integrated family office services. She proposed that the firm do precisely the opposite. She pitched the idea to firm management of an independent multifamily office for high-net-worth clients that would be an ancillary business and extension of the PCS practice. The concept was to broaden the firm's legal and fiduciary services to provide a customized family office platform with state-of-the-art technology and processes for the exclusive benefit of the firm's clients.
Since 2020, HomeBase has transitioned from a vision to a nascent startup to a full-fledged and fully resourced enterprise.
