Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney filed a trade secret lawsuit on Aug. 9 in Pennsylvania Western District Court on behalf of Seegrid Corp., a manufacturer and seller of autonomous mobile robots. The suit brings claims against Fox Robotics Inc. and the former chief operating officer of Seegrid, Timothy Spang. The court action seeks an injunction preventing Spang from taking an executive position for competitor Fox Robotics, which the court action results would violate the confidentiality clause of his employment agreement and would result in the misappropriation of Seegrid’s proprietary information in service of Fox Robotics. The case is 2:23-cv-01424, SEEGRID CORPORATION v. SPANG et al.
