Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath Philadelphia partner Sandra Jones is scheduled to speak at the 2023 Long-Term Care International Forum annual conference, which is to be held from Sept. 13 to 15.
The event is set to be held at the JW Marriott New Orleans in Louisiana.
Jones is scheduled to discuss how the steady increase in sales of hybrid/combination products, often marketed as "less risky" than standalone long-term care insurance products since there is an alternative death benefit if the rider isn't triggered, is coupled with an increase in claims. As claims increase, so does litigation.
