Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young announced that Philadelphia partner Lisa R. Jacobs was recently appointed chair of the executive committee of the Uniform Law Commission (ULC) at its 2023 Annual Meeting.
Established in 1892, ULC provides states with nonpartisan, well-conceived and well-drafted legislation that brings clarity and stability to critical areas of state statutory law.
As ULC's governing board, the executive committee has the responsibility of implementing the policies adopted by the commission at its meetings and determining the agenda for the acts to be considered and drafted by the ULC.
