In two separate opinions, a federal judge has dismissed class actions against Papa Johns and GameStop that alleged the use of session replay code on companies’ websites violated the  Pennsylvania Wiretapping and Electronic Surveillance Control Act.

U.S. District Judge Nicholas Ranjan of the Western District of Pennsylvania granted Papa Johns’ and GameStop’s respective motions to dismiss the putative class actions due to lack of jurisdiction and lack of standing, respectively.
