Giordano presented during the session "From Pandemic to Endemic: Understanding How COVID has Changed the Practice of Obstetrics and Obstetric Malpractice."
The session provided an overview to attorneys from multiple states of the effects of COVID on a pregnancy and a fetus, changes in treatment protocols as well as new theories of liability and defenses developed throughout the course of the pandemic.
