Maria Battista
Battista, a Republican, is vice president for federal and state contracts with The Judge Group, a staffing agency and IT consulting firm. She has also held positions in the Department of Defense and Pennsylvania departments of health and state. The Pennsylvania Bar Association rated Battista not recommended for failure to participate.
Beck, a Democrat, was a civil litigator with Blank Rome, where she led several pro bono initiatives. She is highly recommended by the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Lane, a Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge, has been on the bench for nearly a decade, and has a wide breadth of legal experience both on and off the bench. Smail, a Republican, serves as judge in the Westmoreland County Court of Common Pleas. He is recommended by the Pennsylvania Bar Association and has a background in criminal and family law.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
