Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin announced that attorney Steven A. Hann was a speaker at the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association's (PMAA) 81st annual conference and trade show.
There, he presented a seminar titled, "Is Your Drinking Water Facility Prepared to Address the Broad Spectrum of PFAS-Related Initiatives?"
During this presentation, Hann spoke on various issues related to PFAS chemicals (also known as "forever chemicals") and their impact on drinking water facilities. Among the topics discussed were EPA's PFAS Strategic Roadmap, DEP's final rulemaking addressing PFAS in drinking water, EPA's proposed PFAS drinking water regulation, EPA's regulatory proposal listing PFAS chemicals as CERCLA hazardous substances, as well as key monitoring, compliance and enforcement issues.
