Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro has recently appointed Ballard Spahr litigation partner Emilia McKee Vassallo to the Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission.
Her three-year term began on Nov. 1.
The Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission is an independent state agency charged with enforcing the 1978 Pennsylvania Public Official and Employees Ethics Act. The Ethics Act applies to public officials and employees, and parts of it apply to candidates and nominees for public office.
