Stevens & Lee announced that Timothy Randolph Barr, Ambrose W. Heinz, Rubeena S. Sehgal and Brandon S. Shemtob have been named shareholders of the firm effective Jan. 1.
Barr, a member of the firm's Valley Forge office, concentrates his practice on corporate transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions for privately held companies. His representations include private equity funds, independent sponsors, strategic purchasers, founder and successor shareholders of closely held businesses and management teams in connection with transactions in the middle market space.
He has experience negotiating and drafting deals that are backed by representation and warranty insurance, as well as traditional indemnification packages. His experience extends to negotiating, drafting and reviewing a range of commercial contracts, with particular experience regarding portfolio companies of existing private equity company clients.
