Elected and Appointed
Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin announced that Lisa A. Shearman has been elected president of the Montgomery Bar Association (MBA).
She is the eighth woman president and the 139th president of the Montgomery Bar Association. In a recent speech to the membership, Shearman urged lawyers to commit to doing more pro bono work in 2024.
Established in 1885 to professionalize the county's practice of law, the MBA represents over 1,800 legal professionals in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Now, as then, the MBA exists to uphold legal and ethical standards in the legal community. As the third largest bar in Pennsylvania, the MBA has a longstanding tradition of service to its membership and the community.
