Alan P. Fox, chair of Capehart Scatchard's alternative energy department and co-chair of the real estate and land use department, was a speaker for a national continuing legal education webinar titled "Commercial Real Estate Contracts A-Z: Drafting, Reviewing, and Negotiation Tips No Real Estate Lawyer Should Do Without."
The webinar was held on Dec. 28, 2023, and hosted by the National Business Institute (NBI).
During his presentation, titled "Drafting Commercial Leases," Fox gave an overview of practical tips for drafting most types of commercial leases. He also spoke on the unique drafting issues related to photovoltaic solar facilities and issues related to leasing for a retail cannabis business.
