As you built your career, who mentored you?

Joseph T. Bodell Jr., retired, was the managing partner of Bodell Bove Grace & Van Horn. I was initially not allowed to send out an "enclosed please find" letter, and he would take out a red pen correcting every letter, memo of law or pleading I would draft. However, he saw in me the ability to try cases, placing me into the courtroom very early in my career. I then got to see and do some great lawyering at the Beasley Firm.
