The Main Line Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to hold the Greater Philadelphia Summit on Business Impact and Volunteerism from 8:15 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue.

Newly elected Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker is winning praise for her optimism and ideas in the face of major challenges. At this seventh annual corporate social responsibility summit, the chamber invites the mayor to share her vision for the region, and her hopes for the business community.

Summit topics are to include: understanding corporate giving priorities; how hiring strategies align with efforts to strengthen Greater Philadelphia; and ideas for communicating impact in attracting and retaining employees.
