What is the best piece of advice you ever received?

A wise man by name of Ferris Bueller once said, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." I learned the true meaning of this piece of advice when I lost my father at the age of 25. I regret not spending more time with him when he was alive. I've been reminded of this again, watching how fast my four-month-old daughter is growing up. Life is short. Loved ones come first, and the rest follows.

If you didn't become a lawyer, what career path would you have pursued?
