Community Legal Services and Philadelphia Legal Assistance (PLA) recently welcomed two new members to their overlapping boards of directors.
Joseph Z. Traub, a partner at Raynes & Lawn, has dedicated his career to obtaining justice for people injured or killed by others' wrongdoing, achieving this aim through both representation and advocacy.
The jury verdicts and settlements he achieves serve to make his clients whole, relieve their financial burdens, and ensure that the wrongdoer has taken full responsibility. He writes, publishes, and lectures on best practices and developments in tort law, products liability law, and legal ethics, among other topics, so that other lawyers can advocate more effectively on behalf of their clients. His appellate advocacy skills have aided him in several instances of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court expanding the rights of injured people.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
