Maiello Brungo & Maiello, a law firm specializing in construction law and related litigation, announced the appointment of Steven P. Engel as the general counsel for the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
Associated Builders and Contractors is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 23,000 members. Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC and its 68 chapters help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work. ABC's membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors.
This appointment takes effect immediately, ensuring the chapter's continued proactive legal guidance. Engel, the director of Maiello Brungo's litigation department, brings experience and legal acumen to ABC, having dedicated 25 years to representing contractors, subcontractors, design professionals and owners in construction-related matters.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
