A former Eckert Seamans litigator has launched his own firm focused specifically on technology matters.
Currently operating on a remote basis, the firm is already bringing in clients looking for help with cybersecurity and cyber harassment issues, contracts, and other technological issues.

Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott partner Gabriel Tese has left the firm to co-launch a tech-oriented legal boutique, Cyber Law Firm, alongside a pair of young lawyers.

Cyber Law Firm officially launched in June under the helm of Star Kashman, a 2023 graduate of Brooklyn Law School, although according to Tese the process to set up their new firm began in November 2023. Also part of the venture is former Withersworldwide senior associate Melissa Sherman.
