Flaster Greenberg shareholder David Neufeld, international tax and corporate law attorney, is scheduled to be recognized by the Ministry of Finance of the Nevis Island Government for his significant contributions to the development of Nevis' international financial services sector at the ministry's 40th anniversary gala and awards ceremony being held on Nov. 21 at the Four Seasons Resort on Nevis.
Specifically, Neufeld is being recognized for conceiving of, and creating, the Nevis LLC Ordinance, enacted in 1995.
Nevis is an island in the Caribbean Sea about 220 miles east-southeast of Puerto Rico. Nevis and the neighboring island of Saint Kitts constitute the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, a single nation.
