Abridge, an AI-focused health care startup that just raised $150 million in Series C funding, has hired former Google AI policy lead Tim Hwang as its first general counsel.
Hwang most recently worked in legal and safety at Inflection AI, a large language model developer whose partnership with Microsoft is currently under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission. He also spent a year in the same role at Substack.
