Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin announced that Steven A. Hann recently spoke at several events sponsored by the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association (PMMA)—an organization representing the interests of over 700 municipal authorities in Pennsylvania.
During three board member training sessions, designed for municipal authority board members, as well as municipal authority managers and consultants, Hann discussed the applicability of various state laws, including the Municipality Authorities Act, Sunshine Act, and Right-to-Know Law, to the management and operation of municipal authorities in Pennsylvania.
At PMAA's Management Workshop, which was attended by various professionals associated with municipal authorities, Hann discussed federal and state legislative issues relevant to Pennsylvania municipal authorities. He also provided an update on recent case law potentially applicable to municipal authorities, and addressed general issues impacting these entities on a routine basis. At the same workshop, Hann served on a panel which addressed various procurement and bidding issues relevant to municipal authorities.
