Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller announced that shareholder Gerald Shoemaker has been named chair-elect of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's family law section.
Shoemaker, who concentrates his practice on domestic relations issues including equitable distribution, alimony, custody, and complex support matters, is slated to assume the official duties of chair next summer and will serve a one-year term.
The family law section focuses on the development and practical working of the law relating to marriage, divorce, support, custody, property and economic matters, and domestic relations generally, as well as the law relating to adoption and to juvenile dependency.
