A federal judge in Pennsylvania cleared the way for two American Airlines passengers’ claims of breach of contract and false light invasion of privacy against the airliner, finding the plaintiffs put forth sufficient allegations to show that they were wrongly removed from their flight.

In an Aug. 12 decision, U.S. District Judge John R. Padova for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in part denied American Airlines’ motion to dismiss the claims brought by plaintiffs Amanda Brown and Tiffany Nixon.
