Arch Insurance Co. will face sanctions for its “cavalier attitude” toward discovery obligations after the insurance company failed to properly preserve evidence for a civil dispute.

On Monday, U.S. District Judge Joshua D. Wolson of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania granted plaintiffs Domus BWW Funding and 1801 Admin the ability to reopen additional discovery after finding that Arch failed to produce electronically stored information and concealed its failure to provide the information for months.
