Aerotek, owner of a portfolio of staffing and talent acquisition businesses, and SWM Holdings US LLC were sued on Aug. 23 in Pennsylvania Middle District Court over alleged employment discrimination. The court action was filed by Winebrake & Santillo on behalf of a Black former employee who contends that he was discriminated against on the basis of race when he received derogatory comments about his race, was denied training opportunities and terminated in retaliation for reporting discrimination. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:24-cv-01438, Patterson v. SWM Holdings US, LLC.
