Judge Abbe Fletman of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas ruled Tuesday that Offit Kurman's negligence landed its client with a $2.9 million default judgment against him.
The judge entered a $4 million judgment against the firm.
She found that Offit Kurman failed to respond to discovery requests and motions to compel, and disregarded orders from the court.
