Elected and Appointed

Barley Snyder announced that Joseph R. Falcon III, partner and intellectual property attorney, has again been appointed to leadership positions with the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law (ABA-IPL).

Falcon will now serve as vice chair of the USPTO ex parte patent practice and policy committee and as a member of the section's amicus brief committee. In addition, he will continue his role as liaison to the ABA-IPL section of litigation. These roles began on Sept. 1, and are in effect for the 2024-2025 bar year.

The American Bar Association is a voluntary association of lawyers and law students with a mission of promoting justice, professional excellence, and respect for the law across the United States, according to its website. The ABA-IPL works towards the development and improvement of intellectual property law while sharing insights and knowledge with its members.
