The Duquesne University Thomas R. Kline School of Law is scheduled to bestow its Outstanding Achievement Award on Pollock Begg partner Joseph R. Williams during the Duquesne Law Alumni Association Reunion Dinner on Sept. 27.
The Outstanding Achievement Award is presented to an attorney who has practiced law for 19 years or less and distinguished himself or herself through achievements in the legal profession. Factors such as contributions in one's church, occupation or business and service to Duquesne Kline School of Law are considered as well.
A litigator, Williams has devoted his legal career solely to family law; he was promoted to partner at Pollock Begg in 2015. He also is certified in collaborative divorce, and he helps his clients navigate a wide range of family law concerns including divorce and equitable distribution cases, custody and visitation, protection from abuse and support.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls.
