Question: Can I sue the drafting attorney for failing to effectuate a testator's unexecuted intents that would have otherwise rendered me a beneficiary?

A: Generally, no.

In Estate of Agnew v. Ross, 152 A.3d 247 (2017), the Pennsylvania Supreme Court reiterated the general principle that an attorney-client relationship is required to support an action in estate (if not all) legal malpractice. See also, Guy v. LIederbach, 459 A.2d 744 (Pa. 1983).
