Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel announced that intellectual property attorney Ronald J. Ventola II and his fellow committee members have been recognized with the 2024 Committee of the Year Award from the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO).

Ventola serves as vice chair of the organization's U.S. Patent Office Practice Committee, which works to improve patent prosecution practice in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, studying and reporting on changes in the process and making recommendations to the USPTO. The Committee of the Year Award recognizes the work of the entire committee throughout the year to improve the patent process in the United States.

The Intellectual Property Owners Association is an international trade association representing organizations and individuals in technology with an interest in intellectual property rights. As vice chair of the organization's U.S. Patent Office Practice Committee, Ventola periodically meets with USPTO officials and organizes informative presentations for IPO members.
