Gawthrop Greenwood welcomed Jennifer L. Simons as an associate attorney practicing in the firm's trusts and estates department.
A life-long resident of the Philadelphia area, Simons advocates for the well-being of her clients as they work together to make highly individualized decisions in the areas of estate planning, special needs trusts, guardianship and estate administration. She has experience in translating legalese into true understanding while preparing wills, powers of attorney and advance medical directives. She also supports clients in adult guardianship matters as well as special needs trusts, and provides representation in Orphans' Court.
Prior to joining Gawthrop Greenwood, Simons served as an associate attorney at McAndrews Law Offices where she also served as a legal assistant while attending Widener University Delaware Law School at night. Previously, she had a career in corporate retail for a leading apparel provider.
