The Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association (PTLA) announced that Joseph L. Messa Jr., founding partner of Messa & Associates, was honored with the 43rd annual Justice Michael A. Musmanno Award on Thursday.
Messa, a trial lawyer and advocate for justice, was recognized for his "exceptional legal prowess and unwavering commitment to defending the rights of the injured and disadvantaged."
Born and raised in Philadelphia's Germantown, Messa earned his bachelor's degree at Tulane University before earning his J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law.
