Last year's changes to Pennsylvania's medical malpractice venue rules have landed an increased number of health care providers in Philadelphia court. And many of those defendants want out.
But securing a transfer is not easy, lawyers say, and the kind of fights that are happening over the venue in medical malpractice cases have changed in the nearly two years since the former rule was replaced.
