A contentious fee dispute between Philadelphia firm Kleinbard and a women-owned law group, Griesing Mazzeo Law, has come to a settlement after two years of litigation in federal court, a dismissal ruling in favor of the defendants, and the threat of sanctions against plaintiff's counsel.

According to court documents filed on Nov. 1 in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Kleinbard is withdrawing its request for sanctions against former Greising attorney Julie Negovan for allegedly dragging out the underlying litigation accusing Kleinbard of withholding fees by refusing a settlement offer in March 2023.
