DLA Piper, Ballard Spahr, Fisher Broyles, and Pierson Ferdinand were sued in Pennsylvania state court Tuesday for an attorney’s alleged role in the destruction of a business partnership.

Corporate partner John "Jay" Coogan, currently an attorney at Pierson Ferdinand, was accused by Edo Cohen and his company, online gaming platform Rival Games LLC, in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas of aiding Rival Games LLC’s co-founder Shawn Murnan in a scheme to divert investments and cryptocurrency token grants away from the company.
