Monsanto won another court victory in the Roundup litigation on Friday after jurors in Philadelphia returned a defense verdict.

The trial, which began on Oct. 28, involved plaintiff Judith Womack, who in 2015 began using Roundup several times a year before she was diagnosed in 2019 with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, court records show. Monsanto, owned by Bayer, was represented at trial by: Shayna Cook, of Chicago’s Goldman Ismail Tomaselli Brennan & Baum, Kim Bueno of King & Spalding in Austin, and Philadelphia attorneys Richard Harris of Holland & Knight and Barnes & Thornburg's Chanda Miller.
